Chesley W. “Lee” Riddle, III was born in Madisonville in February, 1979. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky and a law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.
Lee has served Hopkins County as an Assistant County Attorney for eight years–the last four as Chief Prosecutor. In this capacity, Lee has managed and successfully prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases in Hopkins County District Court. He is also responsible for representing Hopkins County in guardianship and other family matters.
Lee is an avid sportsman and has served as a board member of several local charitable organizations including Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He is also a past president of the Hopkins County Bar Association and graduate of Leadership Hopkins County. Lee lives in Madisonville with his wife and three children.
